Neill Fleming was born in Dublin, Ireland, and raised between Ireland and the United States after his family moved to Boston in 1982. A life spent crossing the Atlantic gave him a keen ear for accents and a chameleon-like gift for character transformation.

Trained extensively in voice and Shakespearean performance, Fleming worked with Classic Stage Ireland under Andy Hinds (RADA, The Globe) and studied soliloquy and scene work with Darragh O’Brian of the RSC. His stage roles include Macbeth, Lord Capulet (Romeo and Juliet), Old Hamlet/King Claudius (Hamlet), Orsino (Twelfth Night), and Gloucester (King Lear).

A passionate interpreter of Irish writers, he earned acclaim as Kilby in Mark O’Rowe’s Made in China, Jack in The Importance of Being Earnest, and Lord Windermere in Lady Windermere’s Fan. His recent performance in Stuart Roche’s Shard was hailed as "an astounding, career-defining performance" and "brilliance incarnate." Critics praised his "towering strength and immense vulnerability" and called it "one of the most striking performances of this, or any year."

Neill is a founder member of the co-operative theatre company The Core Ensemble, and has worked with the world-renowned Mouth on Fire Theatre Company on several productions - most notably Samuel Beckett’s All That Fall, performed to a blindfolded audience that included President Michael D. Higgins at Áras an Uachtaráin.

A trained artist and animator, marathoner, and dog lover, Fleming holds dual Irish and U.S. citizenship and is based in Los Angeles and Dublin.
